NASDAQ OMX 100 Index

NASDAQ OMX 100 Index: A market-capitalization weighted index made up of the 100 largest companies listed on the NASDAQ OMX group exchanges in the United States and the Nordic countries. This index tracks large growth stocks across a broad range of sectors, with the Nasdaq's emphasis on innovation, technology, growth and globalization.
The NASDAQ OMX 100 Index was introduced in March 2008. It is designed to be a global index and is disseminated in both dollars and euros. It is calculated in real time. Some of the stocks listed on the exchange are Amazon, Apple, Cisco, Danske Bank and NVIDIA.
